Certain types of renovation work (such as demolition or construction of walls) require evaluation by HDB's Technical Department. For such works, renovation contractors are required to submit the floor plan showing the proposed renovation works on behalf of flat owners to HDB for approval. The floor plan is to be scanned together with the application for renovation works submitted electronically to HDB.

Floor Plans

Flat owners can make use of the floor plan of their flat shown in the Sales Brochure given to all new flat owners when they select their flat.

Alternatively, flat owners can buy the floor plans at $5 a copy by one of the following methods:
  • Through the Internet using the Purchase of Residential Floor Plan e-Service
  • From HDB Hub (Sale of Architectural Plan Counter), 3rd storey Atrium (next to Payment Counter)
  • Using the self service kiosk at the HDB Branch Office

For your convenience, advance orders can also be made over the phone/counter at HDB Branch Office. Please call our toll-free Branch Office Service Line on 1800-2255432.

HDB Registered Renovation Contractors (RRCs) are required to observe and comply with the terms and conditions governing the HDB RRCs Scheme. HDB will take appropriate action against HDB RRCs who have infringed the terms of the registration scheme.
