The “P” and “d” profiled panels make up the architecture of the door and brings benefits in more ways than one. Instead of stacking panels in order to slide or swing, the Pd profile maintains the thickness of panels as that of one throughout the entire process of sliding and swinging. The rectangular panel, to cover half of the opening, is apportioned into a “P” and “d” panel. Simply slide the “P” panel to extend to the width of a conventional door while having the smallest swinging area. The Pd profile is ameliorated by integrating a stopper into the Pd profile. This way, the “P” panel will not over slide. The alignment and durability of door panels will thus be kept under the belt. Noise produced when over slide panels hit the wall or external frame will be avoided.

Pd door devotes its name to the meticulously designed Pd profile. The “P” panel facilitates sliding while the “d” panel facilitates swinging. The SS operation system has the smallest swing area in the market, 12.56% that of conventional full swing door. Users will benefit from a sizable amount of 39% additional usable space for other purposes. This is definitely a much sought after commodity during this contemporary time of pocket sized homes.
