History
FURNITURE CLUB in 1999 was known as JAVCO, importing in designer sofas from China manufacturers. The company was founded by Ms. Regina Tock and Mr. Steven Tock, starting off as a wholesaler and exporter of sofas. The first retail business begun in 2002 with the participation of HomeShow Exhibitions in Singapore.

Building good and stronger relations with the manufacturers over the years, FURNITURE CLUB was thus able to offer consumers tailor-made sofas. The first sofa-speciality showroom was then started at Furniture Mall, Beach Road in 2003. The concept of tailor-making sofas for every home was then the begining in the home scene.

Staying Ahead
In 2007, FURNITURE CLUB began to work with Arredamenti Company, a well known manufacturer producing in top quality genuine leather sofas for European markets. Representing their brand Kelvin Giormani, FURNITURE CLUB was able to provide sofas of European standards. With the sucess from this partnership, FURNITURE CLUB continued to establish other similar partnerships with Italian brands, Calia Italia, Livit and Morfeus.

With our continous effort in upgrading, we strive to maintain and provide high quality modern home furnishings through our innovations and strong partnerships with our manufacturers thus assuring and providing high level of services and creating market awareness.

Being the leaders in tailor-making sofas, FURNITURE CLUB was able to expand its retail showrooms to currently 5 stores now, 2 at Furniture Mall, IMM, International Furniture Centre (IFC) and the latest 20,000 sqft flagship store at Keppel43.

Calia Italia has selected a limited number of tanneries guaranteeing the highest quality, as regards the sourcing of the animals and the processing of the hides.

Once these hides are delivered to our workshops, expert craftsmen select them and match them up so that shades of colour and grain fully correspond to the quality standards that have been set.

By offering a wide assortment of leather categories and colours, Calia Italia is able to cater to any taste and style. Our many products do not only vary as for appearance but also as for the properties regarding durabilty.
